Becoming a Pharmacy Technician in West Virginia

Those without certification can still register as a pharmacy technician trainee with the West Virginia Pharmacy Board. Trainees can work in on-the-job training for either two years or for 2,080 hours. Trainees can be under 18 years old. But that being said, they must finish a formal accredited training from an academic institution or in a pharmacy. After you have that, you will then have to complete twenty hours of clinical training with the pharmacist at your place of work.

If you are not a trainee pharmacy tech, you must go for your certification before employment and state registration. Follow our 3 steps below and get started!
