What to do to Become a Pharmacy Tech in Tennessee?

Step 3: Satisfy all requisite hands-on training hours and complete the program in TN

Be sure to fully complete and graduate from your accredited training course. You can only move on to certification testing and registration for a work permit in the state if you do.

Step 4: Successfully pass the PTCE or ExCPT test in TN

To become a CPHT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) in Tennessee you will have to pass either the ExCPT exam or the PTCE exam. Once you do pass one of the you can be classified as a certified state registered pharmacy technician.
