Pharmacy technicians in Minnesota are entry-level medical professionals who assist pharmacists with completing drug prescriptions and serving customers in commercial drug stores, doctors’ offices and other healthcare facilities. While it’s possible for men and women who have graduated from high school to prepare for this career by means of on-the-job training, the majority of hiring managers want to employ candidates who have finished a 12-month pharmacy technician certification program.
