You will have to pass the adaptive exam from the NREMT and the psychomotor exam from the Louisiana Department of EMS. An EMR, EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic will take different certification exams from the NREMT. Once you pass both exams, you are ready to get listed on the registry in Louisiana and are considered certified.
