How to become a dental assistant in Georgia.
The state of Georgia’s dental industry, which includes its licensing, certifications, dental professionals and dental assistants is governed by the Georgia Board of Dentistry.
Georgia’s dental practice act states that the entry level basic dental assistant does not have any training or certification requirements to do the basic duties and supportive tasks demanded of them on the job. The ability to do any expanded function will require extra certification and training though. We detail that for you below.
