In the State of Delaware, all dental professionals are regulated by Board of Dentistry and Dental Hygiene, which is under the control of the Division of Professional Regulation.
All dental assistants in Delaware at a the entry level do not have to become certified or get any specific dental assistant training in Delaware in order to be employed as a dental assistant in the state. All training falls under the sole responsibility of the employer (the licensed dentist).
