Step 3: Have a Current CPR-BLS Certificate
All candidates must have their CPR certification for EMT certification in Missouri. It is part of many EMT training classes but if it is not included in yours, make sure to get a certificate at an outside program.
Step 4: Pass the National Registry EMT Exam
All Missouri EMTs have to pass both of he certification exams that are given by the (NREMT) The National Registry for Emergency Medical Technicians.
