Step 1 – Get Certified in Connecticut as a Medical Assistant

For medical assistants in the state of Connecticut it is mandated by the state that you be licensed or certified in order to have employment as a medical assistant. It is highly regarded and should be considered a top option for you and your career. All certifications are done through the AAMA.

Step 4 – Finish the mandated hours of clinical training in Connecticut

When you complete your accredited program in Connecticut for medical assisting you are on your way to become a medical assistant. But you have to also finish any clinical training that was assigned to you.
