First there is the necessary passing of a two course that is certified by the West Virginia Dental Board, 3,000 hours of required training during that time. After the required training, candidates will have to also gain supervised clinical training under the supervision of a licensed dentist. The dentist will then have to officially attest to your ability to preform the listed functions.
